Panoramic mountain Zugspitze

At the top of the "Zugspitze" known as the most beautiful roof terrace of Germany you can enjoy the unique 360° panorama showing 400 alpine peaks of Germany while standing right next to the golden summit cross. At clear days you can look up to 250 kilometres into distance which gives you an incredible feeling of wideness and freedom as well as in wintertime as in summertime.

Since 2017 the very modern cable car transports visitors with a maximum of comfort to the top of the highest mountain of the country. Summed up the planning and building, which were taken place under the most adverse conditions partly, lasted six years. With realizing such a project in nearly 3.000 metres height it has been a project of superlatives which not only is a highlight fort he "Bayerische Zugspitzbahn Bergbahn AG" but even fort he whole region.
